Hello World! This is Ellie, I have recently decided to give up Facebook in the "spirit" of Lent. It's odd because it is not something I would customarily do, But I found myself obsessively playing the games like a full-time job and checking status updates religiously.
Which brings me here, the decision to blog and chronicle the events in my life, why not? It is 7:23am and I have a 12-step meeting to go to, I have been going for a little over 4 months and my life is truly changing rapidly, I mention it because I was a skeptic of no faith, no trust in people, no trust in women, no hope, and truly unhappy, so I decided to give the 12 step program a shot, nothing else was working and I was tired of waking up to Groundhog day. I felt that I would at least attempt to sit in a meeting and listen, I could always go back to the things that weren't working, in essence I truly had nothing to lose, I had already lost everything and life was passing me by.
I honestly feel today that my life is a miracle and a gift and I owe it to the forces that are making all these wonderful things happen to share it with the World (or at least whoever reads this blog).
I will share more in a bit, I have to start walking to the train station (oh I forgot to mention I no longer own a car)..
